On the highway to climate hell

As the Secretary General of the UN said last week, “we are on the highway to climate hell with our foot still on the accelerator.”

We’ve known about man-made climate change for 140 years (Svante Arrhenius) and we’ve known it was going to be a serious problem for 50 years. Which is when the oil companies started a campaign of misinformation and destruction of alternative energies (BP buying up solar companies and shutting them down).

We know what the solution is: stop using fossil fuels. How much longer are we going to dither while the planet burns?
